THANKSGIVING CIRCUS THEATER CAMP

This popular camp brings together the fun physical challenges of circus with the endless potential of storytelling to make an action-packed week of Circus Theater. Each day begins with an imagery-based warm-up, preparing campers to jump, swing, spin, and CREATE! Next, we explore physical theater concepts, playing with individual creative expression as well as collaborative group challenges.

TERA'S TURKEY BURN

"The Turkey Burn" with Supernova: Back by popular demand, this high energy circus-driven workout uses aerial apparatus, calisthenic equipment, and pumping music. Multiple versions and modifications of the exercises will be offered. You choose which feels right to you, from beginner level to FITNESS-ADDICT LEVEL! This year Supernova is including more personalized coaching, so that each athlete can leave the workshop not only DRIPPING IN SWEAT, but also empowered with an increased knowledge that they can take with them and utilize in their training year round. Its the gift that keeps on BURNING! 

TAP & RHYTHM EXPLORATION

Explore rhythm using your body, voice, household objects and simple instruments. Join Echo creative Director Aaron Wheeler-Kay as we make sounds and beats together. This workshop will include body percussion, beat boxing and drumming principles to explore beat-making, polyrhythms and group jamming for fun and connection. Participants are invited to bring any rhythm instrument they have or like to play, from egg shakers, tambourines and hand drums to pots and spoons. Instruments will be available to those who do not bring any.

Echo Theater hosts classes for everyone, ages 1 to 100! (Actually, 1.5 years old is the youngest!) An easy way to navigate our class and camp offerings is by selecting an age group. While we are all kids-at-heart, "KID" means students ages 1 - 15, and "ADULT" means ages 15+. 

FAMILY

We encourage families and intergenerational groups to play, perform and create together. Our popular Baby Circus classes are a great introduction to circus for our youngest students and their parents! Family Circus classes and additional mixed age workshops are offered periodically.

KIDS

We offer classes and camps for multiple age groups:

AGE 4 - 6, AGE 6 - 10, AGE 10 - 13, AGE 13 - 17

Echo also supports two youth performance ensembles at the Echo Theater, the Tik Toks (ages 9 - 14) and the Zig Zags (13 - 18) and a training company at Echo West, Brio (ages 10 - 18).

ADULT

Adult classes are available for ages 15+. You can search by discipline or browse all of the adult (15+) classes. Please note, several classes are listed under multiple disciplines
