Senora Loop (she/they)
Senora Loop (she/they) is an interdisciplinary circus artist with 10 years experience training, teaching, and performing circus arts across the country. From festival stages to cabaret shows to full-scale productions, she’s done it all and loved every second of it. She first began her aerial journey in her hometown of Bloomington, Indiana, where she found her love of coaching and studio managing. After many years, the PNW called her name and she spent several more years coaching and performing at studios and festivals up and down the west coast, including extended stints at Athena Vertical Dance in Tacoma, WA, and Emerald City Trapeze Arts in Seattle, WA.
Her grad school residency then took her to Boise, Idaho, where she worked as a coach and performer at Asana Aerial Arts, performer for the Boise Circus Guild, and board worker on the Circus Vision Collective’s flying trapeze rig. After graduating with her Masters of Science in Midwifery in June 2023, she spent the rest of the summer flying and performing in Boise before making the move to Portland, OR.
Senora is so thrilled with what circus has given her over the last 10 years, and loves to share her passion with students of all ages and skill level - although her favorite things to coach are advanced silks and lyra. When she’s not hanging upside down, you can find Senora attending a prenatal or postpartum visit, catching a baby, climbing a mountain somewhere, or playing fetch with her dog, Winnie.
